This site features pictures from Manchester's many bus operators. I have tried to feature most of the local companies, including those that are less well represented elsewhere.
This site also features collections for the big groups, including both Stagecoach and First Manchester. My Arriva collection for Greater Manchester (and throughout the North West) is on a seperate site, found @ www.arriva-merseyside.fotopic.net
Additional collections features pictures from the Community Transport Association Event (Nov07) at Manchester Central, featuring display vehicles from Irisbus / Optare / Plaxton / Alexander Dennis, many of which are aimed at the Community Transport sector.
Other event collections include the annual Trans Lancs Rally, arranged by Manchester's Museum of Transport, which is held at Heaton Park.
Although several operators have since departed from Manchester's bus scene, including LA Coaches, Vale of Manchester and the majority of R.Bullock's operation, they still continue to be represented here as a snap-shot of Manchester's ever changing transport sector.
